This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
What you will do :
Action on a holistic customer education strategy : Identify creator learning needs and knowledge gaps through internal and external research and feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on the development and delivery of a comprehensive education strategy, creating and prioritizing the execution of self-service knowledge pathways and synchronous learning programs that guide customers through our product.Produce multi-media education content (written, video, audio, visual) that supports independent creators in their professional and personal development.Design, manage, and implement a suite of education resources and programs for new and existing creators. Demonstrate a creative mindset with a focus on creating interactive and engaging learning experiences. Develop a system to track and maintain education and enablement resources across customer need areas.Partner with cross-functional teams like Acquisition and Creator Management to integrate creator education resources, campaigns, and programs into cross-functional workflows. Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Education to drive product education and adoption.Skills and experience you possess :
4 years of experience in education and community programsProgram design and implementation : Previous responsibility for developing and delivering education resources, campaigns and programs in a product-centric company. Experience in instructional design, learning experience design, customer education or related roles.Curriculum and content production and management : Hands on experience designing curriculum, producing educational content in a range of formats, and maintaining a knowledgebase of resources.Event production : Production of events and experiences that enables diverse participants to learn with and from one another.Cross-functional partnership : Strong relationships and execution with internal stakeholders across marketing, communications, and product.Project management : Responsibility for managing multiple work streams and partner, vendor, and contractor relationships.Superfan of creator and internet culture : Extensive knowledge of creators' needs is a necessity. Direct experience as a creator is a plus.Projects you may work on :
Collaborating on a holistic creator education strategy that centers business skills, product education, and peer to peer learning, and identifying gaps in our current execution to prioritize against.Packaging product education and enablement resources with additional strategic guidance, and distributing them as a self-paced curriculum on Patreon for Creators.Designing and hosting a virtual education program to help creators grow on Patreon.Creating and maintaining an internal asset library for enablement and education resources.About Patreon
