The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Patria Church key profit centers, which includes the Retail Shop, Coffee Cart, Café, Founding Pastor Speaking Engagements, UCA uniforms, UCA spirit wears, E-Commerce, as well as Special Projects, Special Events and Volunteer Management. The role of the Retail Supervisor involves managing the day-to-day operations of these areas, developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive patronage and supporting Patria Church’s mission. The Retail Supervisor will facilitate various sales activities for members, staff, and school affiliates, ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying customer needs, providing knowledgeable assistance about products and services, recommending appropriate solutions. The Retail Supervisor will require strong organizational skills to merchandise inventory, mitigate inventory loss, move products in a timely manner, and manage the school account. Lead in recruiting, managing, and providing ongoing support to volunteers, ensuring training, motivated and effectively integrated into store operations to enhance the overall customer experience and store efficiency. The Retail Supervisor will report directly to the Creative Director.

- Manage and supervise daily operations across all key profit centers, including the Retail Shop, Coffee Cart, Café, Pastor Speaking Engagements, UCA uniforms, UCA spirit wear, E-Commerce, Events, Special Projects.
- Ensure that all areas meet performance goals and align with Patria Church's mission.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales within each profit center.
- Coordinate promotional activities, special offers, and events to engage members, staff, and school affiliates.
- Identify customer needs and provide knowledge assistance regarding products and services.
- Recommend appropriate solutions and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Organize and maintain inventory across all retail areas, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Mitigate inventory loss through regular audits and proactive measures.
- Efficiently move products and manage school accounts related to uniforms and spirit wear.
- Lead in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, integrating them effectively into store operations.
- Provide ongoing support to volunteers, fostering motivation and ensuring they contribute positively to the customer experience and store efficiency.
- Oversee Patria Church’s E-Commerce platforms, ensuring timely updates, product availability, and smooth transactions.
- Coordinate online sales with in-store activities to provide a unified shopping experience.
- Responsible for all purchasing/repairs of products, materials, and equipment for the profit centers under budget guidelines and in accordance with requisition process.
- Plan and execute special projects and events related to the retail and service areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to support church-wide events, ensuring retail operations contribute to the overall success.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, budget adherence, and profitability of each profit center.
- Prepare regular reports for the Creative Director, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Leadership highlight successes, challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, city and state taxes.
- Provide leadership and direction to retail staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with event organizers to schedule speaking engagements for Founding Pastor, ensuring that all logistical details are managed efficiently.
- Oversee the sales process for Founding Pastor speaking engagement products, including pricing, distribution channels, and online sales platforms.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to track revenue from speaking engagement products.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging professional development and teamwork.
- Ensure all retail areas comply with health, safety, and church polices.
- Address any compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay current on retail trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance operations.
- Regularly assess and improve processes to increase efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.
- Adhere to the ministry’s standards of confidentiality.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Able to successfully complete background investigation and drug screen.
- Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Windows based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or 5-10 years business experience.
- Experience in a retail environment, including customer service, sales techniques, and inventory management.
- Experience using retail management software, Point of Sale Systems: Square, Shopify POS, Lightspeed, Clover, Bookstore Manager and other related technologies.
JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:
- Read, write, spell, and communicate clearly in English.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers, staff and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising to optimize product displays and enhance the Retail Shop and Special Events shopping experience.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Member of the Patria Church (or willing to transfer membership to Patria Church).
- Pastors are required to attend all regularly scheduled Sunday and Wednesday church services. Support staff must attend at least one (1) regularly scheduled weekend church service.
- Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
- Regular involvement in Patria Church activities, ministries, neighborhood groups, and events.
- Tithe 10% to Patria Church.
- Signed acknowledgment of the Patria Church’s Statement of Faith.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to Patria Church’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
