JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Youth Associate Director at Patria Church is a dedicated support role, assisting the Youth Overcomers and Young Adults Director in empowering high school students and Jesus Club participants to grow in their faith and personal development. This role provides crucial support in planning and executing programs, events, and initiatives that encourage spiritual growth, community connection, and active engagement with God’s mission. The Youth Associate Director helps organize worship services, outreach opportunities, and small groups while fostering a welcoming environment for all youth. This individual builds meaningful relationships with students, parents, volunteers, and community members to create a supportive network that nurtures faith and belonging. This individual will work collaboratively to support the vision and leadership of the Youth Overcomers and Young Adults Director while modeling Christ-like leadership and service. The Youth Associate Director will report directly to the Youth Overcomers and Young Adults Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Embraces and executes a Neighborhood Groups philosophy of ministry.
- Supports the Youth Overcomers and Young Adults Director in implementing dynamic weekly programs, events, and worship services for high school students.
- Provides logistical and administrative support for all youth events to ensure alignment with Patria Church’s mission, vision and values.
- Assist with high school campus outreach programs, including Jesus Club, by coordinating logistics and fostering relationships with local schools.
- Helps with food, supplies, and material organization for Jesus Club and Patria Youth Services.
- Supports efforts to attract and engage high school students, including those not yet connected to a church community.
- Assists in building small groups and neighborhood gatherings to foster relationships, accountability, and discipleship.
- Encourages student participation and involvement in ministry activities to cultivate leadership skills.
- Builds relationships with students, offering encouragement and support within ministry activities.
- Creates opportunities for students to serve within the church and community.
- Assists in recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer leaders dedicated to discipling youth.
- Helps facilitate leadership training and enrichment opportunities for volunteer teams.
- Works closely with Patria Youth staff and volunteers to communicate and implement ministry goals.
- Provides administrative support for tracking youth ministry progress and reporting to the Youth Overcomers and Young Adults Director.
- Assists in managing Patria Youth and Jesus Club operational budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively.
- Supports the integration of young adults into church life, ensuring they are connected to the broader community.
- Ensures the safety and security of youth programs by assisting with policy implementation, including background checks and emergency protocols.
- Stays informed about trends in youth development and supportive innovative ministry approaches.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Windows based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in youth or outreach ministry preferred.
- A college diploma or equivalent ministry experience is preferred.
- Devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, exemplifying strong moral character, integrity, and a commitment to Christian principles.
- Demonstrated passion for youth development and outreach initiatives.
- Experience working in culturally and ethnically diverse ministry environments.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Always demonstrate Christ-centered behavior by treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.
- Member of the Patria Church (or willing to transfer membership to Patria Church).
- Pastors are required to attend all regularly scheduled Sunday and Wednesday church services. Support staff must attend at least one (1) regularly scheduled weekend church service.
- Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
- Regular involvement in Patria Church activities, ministries, neighborhood groups, and events.
- Tithe 10% to Patria Church.
- Signed acknowledgment of the Patria Church’s Statement of Faith.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to Patria Church’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
- Be self-motivated and goal oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
