Purpose of Position:
The position performs duties to ensure MHC After 3 program delivery meets standards of youth development and grant requirements. Position will lead in activities including: curricular planning and implementation, efficient and accurate data collection and reporting for grant guidelines, effective daily communication with staff, students, families, school day staff, and MHCA3 manager. Serves as first point of contact for schools, principals, school day teachers, families, and students. Maintains positive public image of PHCC and MHCA3 program. Conducts daily MHCA3 programs, presentation, and evaluation of daily program delivery and community partners and purchased services. This individual supervises and provides technical assistance to MHCA3 program leaders and site directors, tutors, and summer instructors. - Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. Related college training and/or certifications are helpful.
- Considerable knowledge of the college and state policies and procedures as related to MHC After 3.
- Knowledge of 21 Century Community Learning Centers Programs.
- Extensive knowledge and or training in Youth Development and/or Human Services/Development.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage databases and generate effective and efficient reports for annual performance reports and data management.
- Applied knowledge of youth development and educational support programs to ensure effective programs and delivery.
- Experience building community and business partnerships to continue growth of youth development programs and continuation of MHC After 3.
- Expertise in utilizing word- processing, database management, and presentation software.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Utilize computer based databases, word processing, and time management programs.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources according to grant guidelines.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes student/staff needs assessment, meeting quality standards for instructional services, and ability to make programmatic decisions based on outcomes data.
- Knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and strategies for the protection of participant and employee data, grant and institutional property in accordance with institutional, state, and federal guidelines.
- Knowledge and proficiency in collecting, and evaluating student academic data.
- Knowledge of budget management and understanding of OMB Omni-Circular.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
- The ability to understand and to convey information and ideas through written and oral communication.

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
