What are the responsibilities and job description for the ReNewEd Teacher- High School Alternative Program position at PATRICK HENRY HIGH SCHOOL?
Lead teacher for a High School alternative program housed at Patrick Henry High School.
QUALIFICATIONS: Performs complex professional work, providing teaching and/or training services to students in general instruction or in specialized subjects; motivates students to develop skills in assigned subjects matter; performs related work as required. Works with general supervision. Limited supervision may be exercised over assigned paraprofessionals.
Must hold or be eligible for appropriate Virginia License. Must possess demonstrated leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary to effectively communicate with students, parent, and administrators. Must possess the abilities needed to be an effective leader. Must possess secondary teaching endorsements.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Effective Date: 2025-2026 School Year
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
