Homecare – Insurance Coordinator
Location: Work from Home. Training will be done in office at 986 Tibbetts Wick Rd, Girard, OH 44420
Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The responsibilities of our Insurance Coordinators Include:
- Obtain authorization for home health care services for new patients when insurance requires authorization for services
- Tracks insurance authorizations
- Adds/edits all patient insurance information
- Ensures that collection of all Managed Care and third party claims are followed up in accordance with department policies, procedures, and performance goals
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Conditions:
- Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines
- It is a primarily a desk job, which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication
Qualifications:
- Two years of home healthcare experience or basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines and deliver effective results
- Excellent computer and phone skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
