What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Manager/ APM position at Patriot Enterprises LLC?
Patriot Enterprises LLC is looking for a Site Manager/ Alternate Project Manager to join our team. The Site Manager/APM shall be responsible for coordinating operations with Government and contractor personnel and will oversee the performance of tasks at required duty stations throughout ANC. The Site Manager/APM will also oversee visitor operations in a large outdoor venue, supervise personnel, resolve conflicts, and interact effectively and professionally with all onsite personnel, emergency services, and other supporting entities. The Site Manager/APM reports directly to the Project Manager.
This is not a remote position. It requires onsite indoor and outdoor work, as well as holiday and weekend hours.
Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor the performance of contract employees each day to ensure requirements are met and exceeded in terms of quality control, timelines, customer satisfaction, and other requirements essential to the government and the company
- Train employees in rules, regulations, and etiquette applicable to funerals, ceremonies, cemetery visitation, and other activities
- Resolve conflicts between employees through verbal and written counseling, mediation, and guidance with the intent to teach, coach, and mentor
- Complete administrative tasks such as maintaining personnel files, uploading and updating digital/ electronic records, and signing timesheets
Qualifications:
The candidate shall, at a minimum, possess the following:
- A baccalaureate degree in business management, tourism management, or other field relevant to managing visitor operations of a large public facility, national park, or similar venue; OR a minimum of two years of post-secondary education and five years of professional experience supervising visitor operations or similar services at a large public venue or government facility
- Strong preference of service in the US Army attaining the rank of E6 or E7, or 10 years of support to the Department of the Army, with a strong background in operations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage up to 50 personnel under challenging conditions and a rapidly changing environment
- Possess a state motor vehicle license, auto related insurance policy, and clean motor vehicle record as defined by the Government
- Must possess a valid U.S. state driver's license and have a safe driving record that shall have no accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years and no Driving Under the Influence convictions.
- Successfully complete and maintain favorable background checks
- Submitting to and successfully completing and passing drug tests including pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, accident related, random, and follow up testing
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English,
- Highly organized and detailed orientated, able to multitask and prioritize workload
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to changes in policies and procedures
- Exercise tact, diplomacy, and excellent customer service skills
- Provide information clearly, concisely, and timely to contract staff, the Project Manager, and Government personnel
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills are required
