Visitor Screening - Arlington National Cemetery
Visitor Screening will provide screening for visitors and their personal bags/carryalls for prohibited items.
Employees performing duties at the site are Ambassadors of Arlington National Cemetery, and are expected to display superior quality customer service skills at all times, including the ability to communicate clearly, coherently, professionally, and respectfully regardless of the situation.

Candidates Must Possess
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work experience in visitor screening operations or equivalent work experience (equivalent experience includes, but is not limited to, duties such as searching bags/luggage, processing large groups of visitors, and operating applicable sensing equipment.)
- Employees in these positions will be required to work outside and to be standing on their feet and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Each shift is approximately 10 hours, and it is normal for employees to be on their feet or to be walking for 8-9 hours of their shift. Employees work in all weather conditions (rain/sleet, snow, thunder and lightning, hail, 100 degree temperatures, 100% humidity).
- Candidates for these positions must be physically able to perform the requirements of the job.
- Must pass extensive background investigation
