Patriot Erectors is a full-service, AISC-certified steel Fabricator and AISC-advanced steel Erector.
We are looking for meticulous Quality Control Inspectors to join our team and bring their expertise to our innovative and fast-paced environment!
About the Role:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of structural steel fabrication. Reporting to the Quality Director, you will inspect all aspects of fabrication to ensure conformance with specifications and AISC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of welds prior to shipment.
- Dimensional Inspection: Perform dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies.
- Documentation: Complete quality documentation, including inspection forms, nonconformance tags, and reports.
- Coordination: Coordinate inspection activities with production scheduling requirements.
- Final Inspection: Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
- Interaction: Interact with third-party inspectors as directed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of fabrication industry experience.
- Skills: Proficient in using measuring tape and weld gauges, reading engineering drawings, and understanding AISC and AWS D1.1 Welding Code.
- Competencies: Strong technical and analytical capacity, ethical conduct, and attention to detail.
- Certifications: Current OSHA certifications are preferred.
