Position Title: Alarm Manager

Direct Reports: Sprinkler Technicians
The objective of this position is to provide complete oversight for the Fire Alarm Division by ensuring all
estimating, design, proposals, customer service, service calls and project management is done in an effective and efficient manner that edifies the mission statement of PFP.
Responsibilities
- - Provide accountability, leadership, and direction to the Fire Alarm Division
- - Coach, teach and train others to increase their knowledge and skills in Fire Alarm
- - Establish metrics and goals for the division
- - Ensure updates to codes, laws, ordinances and AHJ requirements are communicated throughout
- the division in an effective manner
- - Coordinate with engineers, general contractors, designers, AHJs, and subcontractors to oversee
- the design, planning and installation of fire alarm systems per NFPA
- - Coordinate with engineers, general contractors, designers, AHJs, and subcontractors to oversee
- the design, planning and repair of fire alarm systems per NFPA
- - Visit job sites as needed to provide feedback on quality, progress and progression of project
- - Oversee and participate on the on-call schedule for emergency calls and ensure proper procedures are being followed
- - Review designs for large projects and provide feedback to designer and/or design manager
- - Resolve any customer service issues that may arise; Involve other leaders when necessary
- - Map out a strategy for growth of the division and present to company President and leadership
- team as requested
- - Assist in collecting past due invoices; AR Resolution Center
- Assist with service and installation work, when needed.
- - Ensure that the Alarm Pipeline, Alarm Call in Log, and Design Pipeline are updated daily
- - Provide oversight to ensure that proper procedures are followed when terminations occur
- - Oversee procurement of materials and ensure proper inventory management
- - Review completed projects to evaluate profitability of projects
- - Maintain pricing structure that is aligned with margins and inflation
- - Oversee proposals to ensure proper pricing for adequate margins
- - Develop and participate in the production of Standard Operating Procedures for the Fire Alarm division

- - Maintain adequate staff and sub-contractor levels
- - Oversee that pipelines are updated daily and create a clear view into the division
- - Exceed Division Target Goals for COGS, Gross Revenue, and Labor Cost
- - Maintain a positive work environment
- - Develop and maintain system for procurement and inventory controls
