Floor Production Associate

Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is on the hunt for a skilled Grind Room Associate to become a key member of our team in Franklin, NH The chosen candidate will be responsible for operating furnaces to melt various aluminum and bronze alloys and pouring the resultant metal into sand molds of various sizes.

The position offers a competitive wage of $20/hr - $22/hr, influenced by experience. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

As a Grind Room Associate, your primary responsibilities will entail:

• Transport, prepare, and control molding sand for further processing using a bucket loader, muller, and conveyor system.
• Carefully prepare assembled sand molds using weights and jackets. Employ conveyor system and forklift to transport them for pouring.
• Remove, screen, and reclaim sand from poured molds using hand tools and bucket loader.
• Palletize and transport castings using forklift for further processing stations on site.

• Physically Fit: Frequently lifts 30 - 100 lb loads.
• Self-disciplined: Follows procedure and reports issues as they occur.
• Responsible: Remains cautious and alert at all times.
• Organized: Keeps area & machines clean, and good working order.
• Reliable: Shows up consistently, on time, and maintains performance standards.

• Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrates adaptability and a keen attention to detail.
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency
• Be 18 years old
