The position offers a competitive wage of $20/hr - $22/hr, influenced by experience. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

Day in the Life:As a Grind Room Associate, your primary responsibilities will entail:
- Transport, prepare, and control molding sand for further processing using a bucket loader, muller, and conveyor system.
- Carefully prepare assembled sand molds using weights and jackets. Employ conveyor system and forklift to transport them for pouring.
- Remove, screen, and reclaim sand from poured molds using hand tools and bucket loader.
- Palletize and transport castings using forklift for further processing stations on site.
- Physically Fit: Frequently lifts 30 - 100 lb loads.
- Self-disciplined: Follows procedure and reports issues as they occur.
- Responsible: Remains cautious and alert at all times.
- Organized: Keeps area & machines clean, and good working order.
- Reliable: Shows up consistently, on time, and maintains performance standards.
- Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrates adaptability and a keen attention to detail.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship or documented residency
- Be 18 years old
