What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts and Accounting Associate position at Patriot Machine Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Enters customer contract information into ERP system and tracks any changes
- Supports Contracts Administrator with maintaining sales order and multi-year contracts in Excel spreadsheets and the ERP system
- Identifies and advises on customer contract and quality clauses with multiple departments within company
- Works with the Estimating Department and Customer Service Representatives to confirm accuracy of customer contract requirements
- Properly files and stores both digital and paper records
- Develops sales history and projections for management and ownership
- Assists with various accounting projects and audits as necessary
- Tracks and corrects employee labor to ensure all activities are properly applied within ERP system
- Creates and sends invoices to customers and tracks payment status
- Ensures payments are accurate and applied to correct accounts
- Works with team to conduct scheduled inventory counts and reports on any discrepancies
- Assists HR with weekly labor exports to ADP
- Serves as backup to Accounts Payable and Receivable, as needed
- Serves as backup for Payroll Administrator, as needed
Requirements:
Strong abilities as follows:
- BA/BS in Business Administration or Accounting (preferred)
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Applicant must be a US person
- Knowledge and effectiveness in Excel
- Understanding of Epicor EPR or other EPR systems preferred, but not required
- Strong critical thinking skills required
