What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crate Builder position at Patriot Machine Inc?
Patriot Machine, Inc. is looking to hire a General Laborer with carpentry skills to build and assemble crates for shipping machined aerospace parts. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble shipping crates
- Inventory control of crate building materials
- Forklift experience is beneficial, or the ability to be trained on forklift operation
- Must be able to use hand and power tools (power saws, nail guns, hammers, etc.)
- General carpentry knowledge is a plus
- Loading/unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments as needed
- Must be capable of bending, lifting, and kneeling for periods of time
- Must be a U.S. Person
