Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced concrete foreman to join our excavation and underground utility teams on a variety of construction projects. You will contribute to the success of our company by leading a concrete crew to help with concrete structures, foundations, slabs, underground structures, curbs and gutters. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, including crew coordination, equipment management, and quality control, while ensuring strict adherence to OSHA safety standards. You will collaborate with the project manager, underground utility foreman, heavy machine operators and suppliers to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Supervise and direct concrete crews, ensuring efficient execution of daily tasks.
· Oversee all phases of concrete work, including forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.
· Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
· Coordinate with material suppliers and ensure proper mix and quality control.
· Perform daily inspections of field equipment and enforce maintenance protocols.
· Monitor crew productivity, address inefficiencies, and implement solutions.
· Collaborate with site supervisors and other foremen to meet project deadlines.
· Ensure all work is completed to meet ADA, grading, and jurisdictional requirements.
· Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
· Maintains records, including safety logs and inspection details.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.
· Familiarity with GPS systems for grading and excavation (preferred).
· Strong knowledge of safe operating practices and OSHA safety standards.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
· Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform strenuous tasks.
· Required to have the minimum tools needed to perform work.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Employees will rotate on an on-call basis.
· Employment would require some in-state travel.

· Engineering Tape Measure
· Torpedo Level
· Safety Vest
· Marker/Keel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: DOE from $28 - $38 per hour DOE
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
