Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems like Cerner
- Adhere to clinical standards and protocols while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care measures
- Monitor patients' progress, vital signs, and symptoms, reporting any changes to the healthcare team promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting,
- Proficiency in coding, ICD-9 standards, and DME documentation
- Familiarity with administering inhalation treatments and dermal fillers is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality patient care
