We are looking to employ an experienced seamstress to alter garments and other fabric-made articles. The seamstress's responsibilities include replacing buttons, zippers, pockets, and linings to garments. You should also be able to estimate the amount of time and materials required.

- Proven sewing experience.
- Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
- The ability to work under time constraints.
- The ability to safely use different types of sewing machines.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- The ability to fit and alter uniforms for all new employees.
- The ability to inspect and repair any uniform.
- The ability to keep accurate records.
- The ability to keep adequate inventories of sewing supplies.
- The ability to issue uniforms.
- The ability to assist in inventory of uniforms.
- The ability to handle telephone calls in uniform room.
