Remote | Cyber Security Engineer | Full-time
We are actively recruiting a Cyber Security Engineer for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a fully remote contract opportunity. In this role, you will combine your engineering expertise with hands-on incident response and security analysis. The successful candidate will design, configure, and optimize security tools, including CrowdStrike and QRadar, to enhance detection and response capabilities. Must have a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Per client request, candidates must be U.S. citizens due to the sensitivity of federal engagements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Security Engineering & Operations :
Design, implement, and optimize security tools (CrowdStrike, QRadar).
Lead investigations of security incidents, ensuring rapid containment and remediation.
Align activities with federal requirements (CMMC, NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRamp).
