Louisville, KY | Software Sytems Administrator | Full-time
We are actively recruiting a Software Systems Administrator for our client in Louisville, KY. This is a hybrid direct placement opportunity that will require some onsite work in Louisville. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing software systems, particularly within the hospitality industry. Must have experience with Opera Micros Simphony POS system, Micros Simphony EMC, and Micros Simphony Analytics and Reporting.
Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive daily administration and support for various software and platforms, particularly Salesforce Classic and Opera PMS, ensuring minimal downtime (average ticket response time under one hour).
- Manage the migration from standard ASEM to Hilton Salesforce org by re-integrating various external systems and migrating custom fields, processes, validation rules, page layouts, and data to align with brand standards and maintain legal requirements.
- Optimize the sales process by creating and customizing reports, fields, processes, workflows, email alerts, AppExchange tools, and validation rules within Salesforce to improve department productivity, functionality, and experience (reduced contract turnaround from 15 to 6 days).
- Train managers on software by developing and maintaining technical documents to ensure consistent and efficient use of time and tools as teams grow (from 7 to 13 Sales Managers).
- Develop custom business solutions for unique challenges using integrations and manual data entry shortcuts to improve employee experience and reduce costs (automated over 50 reports).
- Reduce manual revenue adjustments and refunds by ensuring consistent pricing and taxation, per legal requirements, to increase customer retention and improve ratings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software systems analysis and administration, particularly with Salesforce Classic, Salesforce Delphi, and Opera PMS.
- Strong understanding of system integration, data migration, and customization within Salesforce.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop custom business solutions.
- Effective communication skills for training and documentation purposes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
- Must have hospitality or hotel experience supporting or using industry POS and/or PMS systems. Ideally, experience with Oracle Opera or Micros Simphony products.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Hilton Salesforce org and ASEM.
- Familiarity with AppExchange tools and other Salesforce integrations.
- Knowledge of legal requirements related to pricing and taxation in software systems.
