What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Cutter position at Patriotic Pig BBQ?
The Patriotic Pig is a popular BBQ restaurant in North Richland Hills. We're also one of the top wedding caterers in DFW catering over 500 weddings per year. Our restaurant is getting busier and looking to fill our Meat Cutter position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service when engaging with our customers and answering their questions.
- Cut, weigh and present our cuts of meat while operating tools safely.
- Move meat from back of house warmers to front of house warmers.
- Assist with setting up the serving line by stocking trays and to-go containers, toasting buns and warming tortillas.
- Clean equipment throughout the day.
- Assist in other duties as assigned.
- Maintain Patriotic Pig’s high standards in sanitation, freshness, presentation, and proper cutting of meats.
Employment: Full-Time (40 hours)
Pay: $13-$15 base per hour PLUS Shared Tip Pool (Additional $5-$6 per hour on average)
The perfect candidate will have excellent people skills, excellent knife skills and excellent multitasking skills while working under stress. If you're not much of a people person and you have never sliced meat in a high-volume restaurant or catering operation, please do not apply.,
