Job Description

• Pay rate $21.00 hourly

• Must Have 3 years Prior High-Rise Security Experience

Shift’s: All shifts available (Preferably Overnight).

Must possess and demonstrate full flexibility and be available to work any shift, including days, afternoons, and nights, from Monday through Sunday, as required.

License/Certification:

• MUST possess a current BSIS Guard Card
• MUST possess a current BSIS Baton Permit
• MUST possess a current Pepper Spray Certification
• MUST possess a current CPR or First Aid Certification
• MUST possess a valid CA Driver's License with NO violations within the past 3 years

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain knowledge of CPR protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Conduct regular inspections of security systems and report any malfunctions or issues.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential disturbances.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in security-related fields is a plus, including first aid and CPR certifications.
• Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proven conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Candidates should possess a strong commitment to safety and security while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.

Work Location: One location

We're looking for an employee to protect our organization’s facilities. You will be responsible for patrolling our facilities and detecting unauthorized activities. Security Officer tasks include maintaining an awareness of the environment and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. As a security guard, you must also be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations. High attention to detail is required as you need to respond to emergency situations and emergency calls. Ultimately, you will be a vital link to preventing theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
