Shift’s Time(s):

• Sergeant - Thursday-Sunday - 2400-0800 (32 HRS)
• Lieutenant - Thursday - Sunday - 1600-2400 (32 HRS)

Responsibilities

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site Security Director/Field Operations Manager/Client and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shifts, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

• Supervise security personnel to ensure compliance with protocols and procedures.
• Manage conflict resolution and loss prevention strategies effectively.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols and emergency response.
• Monitor surveillance systems and assess security operations for effectiveness.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to enhance community safety.
• Evaluate incidents and prepare reports for management review.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development.

Qualifications

License/Certification:

• MUST possess a current BSIS Guard Card
• MUST possess a current BSIS Baton Permit
• MUST possess a current Pepper Spray Certification
• MUST possess a current CPR or First Aid Certification
• MUST possess a valid CA Driver's License with NO violations within the past 3 years
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry or law enforcement.
• Strong conflict management skills with a focus on loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance operations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to train and mentor staff in security practices and emergency response protocols.
• A background in law enforcement is highly desirable but not required.
