Cashier/Stocker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while managing inventory and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate the cash register, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control by utilizing RF scanners to track stock levels and manage product placement.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are packaged correctly and displayed neatly.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including the sales floor, storage areas, and checkout stations.
• Handle produce and other perishable items with care, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to move stock from storage to sales areas.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cashier or stocker role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and RF scanners is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store appearance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required for stocking duties.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic retail environment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
