Job Purpose
The Operational Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of a renewable energy facility. This includes leading and developing teams to meet various obligations required for power generation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in all areas of the operating site.
- Maintain a positive working environment by ensuring discipline, morale, and employee relations are upheld.
- Prepare performance reviews, salary recommendations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Manage the hiring and training of personnel on site.
- Ensure all personnel understand and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Meet or exceed production and financial targets through collaboration with Asset Management and Accounting.
- Stay informed about local market conditions and operate the facility to maximize fuel resource.
- Monitor facility performance and investigate any abnormal conditions to optimize output.
- Implement and maintain regulatory compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.
