We are looking for additional support for our management team to effectively run our new North Las Vegas facility and automated ship sorter system and leading technicians through an exciting new site launch.

Current Growth/Changes at Reach
- North Las Vegas is a 100k sq. ft. newly-constructed distribution center, and equipment is being actively commissioned. We’re ready for the right maintenance leader to hire, develop, and create systems with hands-on duties.
- New site launches require a scrappy, sleeves-rolled-up, start-up mentality, BUT with the resources of a large and modern tech company.
- Responsible for all base building systems, structures, power supply, and equipment within the facilities of the warehouse/distribution center
- Regularly communicate with operations leadership, and liaise with regulatory inspectors, government officials, landlord representatives, associates, outside contractors, and anyone else required in the safe and proper functioning of the facility
- Occasionally support other Reach Logistics facilities in a remote capacity, assisting to coordinate break/fix dispatches and inspections as needed
- Experienced with leading hands-on trades: both high and low-voltage electrical, fire and life safety systems, equipment and storage assembly
- Manage and organize powered industrial trucks (PIT) maintenance, safety, training of trainers, and procurement
- Implement the use of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) for scheduled maintenance, spare parts management, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and labor/resource allocation
- Familiar with department financial best practices, and operating within a capital/expense budget
- As the senior-most maintenance leader onsite, effectively manage all operating shifts (1st and 2nd) with a flexible/on-call schedule and remote communication
- Ensure the safety of all technicians, site visitors and team members with exceptional knowledge of OSHA rules, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), NFPA code, direct coaching, and by creating new SOPs for compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field
- 6 years Industrial Maintenance and Facility management experience
- 8 years of hands-on experience with automated conveyor/sortation systems, dock door equipment, warehouse lighting, facility alarms, elevated work (scissor lift)
- Experience negotiating and purchasing equipment, basic site service contracts, and materials as needed
- Ability to hold staff accountable with formal documentation and counseling
- Proficient in online office suite apps (Google Sheets, Zoom/MS Teams, Slack/email, etc.)
- Ability to engage employees with a welcoming, positive, constructive approach in all circumstances
- Ability to overcome unexpected obstacles in a new launch environment, handling daily change with a positive attitude and ownership
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hours
- Able to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Occasional travel may be required for training and remote site support
