Join the Patterns Behavior Services team as a part-time Behavior Technician in the vibrant community of Orange County, California! We are on the lookout for passionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact as Behavior Technicians (BTs). If you have a desire to empower individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, this is your chance to shine!
Our BTs receive extensive training in the innovative and effective techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, providing them with the tools to help clients develop essential life skills. Don’t have ABA experience? No worries, we provide all paid, in-house and on-going training!
Ideal Candidates:
- Individuals who love working with children and helping individuals
- Students studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Early childhood, or related fields
- Babysitters/ Nannies
- Daycare Workers
- Direct Support Professionals
- Respite Workers
- Paraprofessionals
- LNA/CNA
Qualifications
- Availability Monday-Friday between 1pm-8pm (10-15 hours)
- Be at least 18 years of age with at least a high school degree or GE
- Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance
- Some experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, direct support, education, or a related field, preferred
Responsibilities:
- Implement 1:1 direct ABA techniques in-home, clinic, and/or school settings
- Collect accurate ongoing data on client’s programs
- Attend all scheduled therapy sessions, staff meetings, and trainings

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
