Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform a variety of CT and radiologic procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional patient care during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
Typical Physical Demands
- Essential: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds.
- Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.
- Frequent: stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
- Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body.
Typical Working Conditions
- Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
- Exposed to communicable diseases.
- Work environment may be stressful due to patient volume.
Minimum Qualifications
- A current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist or eligibility to obtain before date of hire.
- A current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.). If not certified, certification must be obtained within one year of entrance into the position.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
Experience Requirements
- Two years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility; OR
- One year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures.
- CT experience required.
