**Responsibilities**
- Administer care under the direction of ordering physicians and the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director.
- Possess and demonstrate knowledge and skill in areas of respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients.
- Have a working knowledge of Pulmonary Function Studies and the administration of testing.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff to familiarize them with respiratory therapy modalities and equipment.
- Be involved with community education and development.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an approved and accredited school for Respiratory Care.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in newborn/NICU and at least 3 years in acute Respiratory Care medicine.
- Current BLS/ACLS and NRP certifications.
- Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Licensure to practice respiratory care in the State of Colorado.
