Job Responsibilities
- Provide critical care respiratory services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the needs of critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy, with certification and registration from the National Board of Respiratory Therapy Care.
- RRT accreditation through the NBRC.
- A minimum of one year experience in Respiratory Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PALS, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- The ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
