Job Summary:
As a Cardiovascular Catheterization and Electrophysiology (Cath/EP) Technician, you will provide care to patients undergoing procedures in our Cardiovascular Cath Lab. Your role will involve responsibility for a group of patients, supplying care through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the Cath/EP Lab.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all invasive procedures, preparing patients accordingly based on policy guidelines.
- Circulate and monitor patients during Cath Lab procedures, performing sterile scrub duties for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and other cardiac interventions.
- Manage stocking and documentation of supplies, patient billing, and coding of procedures.
