The RT/Cardiovascular Technician plays a crucial part in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, assisting the cardiologist and radiologist with invasive procedures. This role involves creating a safe environment for patients, participating in monitoring and circulating duties, and maintaining supply inventory levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the performance of invasive procedures under the guidance of a cardiologist and radiologist.
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Assist with maintaining ALARA standards for radiation exposure.
- Keep up to date on new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications:
