Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Radiology Manager to oversee the activities of our radiology program. This key position is responsible for ensuring that radiology studies are properly submitted and reported, providing training to staff, and maintaining high-quality standards in radiology services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the radiology program
- Track radiology studies to ensure proper submission and reporting
- Provide training to staff on PACS systems
- Assist with transcription issues and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with administrators and medical directors to ensure quality standards
- Manage radiation protection monitoring program and maintain chargemaster
- Perform supervisory duties, including timely evaluations and training
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
- Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification
- 5 years' experience in Radiology Management and supervision
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist, PACS training, and knowledge of federal regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Mammographer certification
- CT technologist or MRI technologist experience
