Project Coordinator
Patterson & Dewar Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Coordinator in our Norcross, Georgia office to support our Engineering & Surveying Department. This position will be responsible for performing project coordination, providing team and client support, planning events, and administrative activities that will facilitate the smooth running of the operations function as required at Patterson & Dewar Engineers.

Essential Functions
- Work alongside technical teams with projects using various software programs like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vantagepoint and other software used to support the technical teams
- Create and update projects and opportunities in Vantagepoint
- Create reports in Vantagepoint as needed/requested
- Complete quality control reviews of both internal and external reports, proposals, presentations
- Assist with construction contracts; this includes data entry, data manipulation, calling vendors or clients, attending meetings and taking notes, etc.
- Assist with proposals (writing, editing, and reviewing)
- Arrange travel (lodging, transportation, registrations, meals, etc.) for employees attending conferences or meetings
- Organize and plan catered meals for parties, events, client meetings, etc.
- Review engineer billing reports to ensure accuracy
- Run monthly project health reports and project budgets and communicate status with project team members
- Assist the department with various administrative needs such as printing, copying, filing, and sorting of documents
- Attend meetings as required
- Provide administrative support as and when necessary
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive and OneNote
- Excellent writing skills
- Possesses a strong focus on details
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate (via phone, email, Microsoft Teams and face-to-face) in a professional manner
- Successful in completing tasks with little to no supervision
- Proficient in the use of the software and tools necessary to complete the work
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours when needed
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) when needed
- Knowledge and understanding of the electric utility industry is a plus
