Professional Mowing Crew Manager

Job Summary
The Crew Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of groundskeeping professionals in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage projects related to landscape maintenance, tree care, lawn care, and overall garden upkeep. The Crew Manager will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

• Must be able to box edge landscape beds / sidewalks.
• Must be able to string trim and use of a backpack blower.
• Must have experience in striping lawns professionally using a zero turn mower.
• Supervise daily operations of the crew, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members on proper techniques for groundskeeping and landscape care.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to assess progress and quality of work performed.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the crew, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Develop schedules for crew assignments based on project needs and crew availability.

Skills

• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams in a landscaping or groundskeeping environment.
• Proficient in various aspects of landscape maintenance including lawn care, tree care, and garden management.
• Knowledgeable in building and maintaining landscapes that enhance aesthetic appeal while ensuring sustainability.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during landscaping projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
