Job Summary:
Deliver packages efficiently and safely to customers on scheduled routes, meeting service and performance objectives.

Essential Functions:
Maintain high standards of business conduct and ethics as outlined in Patterson Companies' code of conduct.
Drive assigned vehicles, delivering and picking up shipments while adhering to safety protocols.
Serve as the primary customer contact, resolving issues and complaints effectively.
Collect payments from customers in a timely manner.
Loading and unloading assigned vehicles, ensuring all loads are properly secured for transport.
Operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Achieve assigned performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Contribute to maintaining a secure, organized, clean, and safe warehouse and vehicle environment.
Handle hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to Company procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure routine maintenance is performed on assigned vehicles as per schedule, and the vehicle is always in good condition.
Comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
Familiarize yourself with local, state, and federal motor carrier laws.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports as required.
Adhere to company biosecurity policies and customer biosecurity protocols when necessary.
Assist the fulfillment center with daily operations during non-delivery duties.
Additionals Functions:
Effectively manage time, meet personal goals, and contribute to fleet objectives.
Perform work in accordance with Company Safety guidelines and procedures, including mandatory Safety and Compliance Training and regulatory licensing.
Maintain an acceptable driving record and current driver's license.
Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Hold a valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement, capable of operating vehicles up to 80k GVWR.
Maintain additional endorsements as required by equipment (airbrakes, tanker).
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Pass a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Able to drive assigned vehicles safely.
Familiarity with delivery areas and ability to read maps.
Able to work collaboratively as part of an effective team.
Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience as a CDL driver preferred.
Working Conditions:
Physical Demands:
Lift and carry loads up to 55 pounds, team lift 56 to 100 pounds: continuous, moderate, or occasional heavy physical activity.
Move around 50% of the time, spend 50% in stationary positions.
Load and unload vehicles safely.
Environmental Factors:
Assigned vehicles.
Electronic Driver Logs as required.

Travel and On-call:
May require overnight delivery runs.
