SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary/ Responsibilities

• Always maintains a safe work environment and take into consideration your safety, the safety of other employees and the safety of our customers.
• Maintains knowledge of computer software system and other technology systems
• Efficiently diagnoses the technical problem and determines the proper solution.
• Builds a positive relationship with customers, communicating continuously with customer
• Resolves customer issues within given guidelines and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Maintains customer records accurately in computer software program. Keeping each job/ invoice updated as needed
• Must be organized with the ability to complete multiple service calls in a timely manner
• Maintains truck stock inventory within company guidelines and standards
• Follow truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, neat organized truck
• Completes required training in the expected timeframe and participates in ongoing learning opportunities. Training may require off-site and overnight travel.
• Adheres to company policies/ procedures and protocols
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as necessary
• Must be willing to work as a team player
• Must have great communication skills verbally/ written
• Must have pleasant demeanor, professional image, appearance and positive attitude
• Experience with repairing appliances and willingness to learn new technology
• Strong computer skills
• Must maintain requirements to pass background check, driving history and drug test (including health card)
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license with at least an F endorsement
• Physically able to pass 50lb. weight lift test and to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting and other activities necessary to perform job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
