Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our restaurant's kitchen and dining areas. This will include cleaning dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the dishwashing machine or by hand, as well as ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Hand wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils as needed
- Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dining areas
- Sweep and mop the kitchen and dining areas
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, stovetops, and ovens
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Bending, stooping, kneeling for extended periods of time
