About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating automatic tarps and doors on our trucks and ensuring that all cargo is transported safely and securely. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automatic tarps and doors on trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure that all cargo is transported safely and securely
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on trucks and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Proven experience as a truck driver (priority given to applicants with previous related experience)
- Ability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate ($21.00/hour, increasing to $23.00/hour after obtaining CDL and $25.00/hour after 2 years)
- Additonal $3.00/hour for night shifts
