Essential Functions: What you’ll do:
- Oversee daily plant operations, including production scheduling, workforce management, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain facility such as communication with Landlord, general maintenance and repair, security, and utilities.
- Communicate with Project Managers and Technical Design Managers to understand customer requirements
- Maintain a current Production Schedule, analyze conflicts, adjust if necessary, and communicate changes in a timely manner
- Set up vender accounts, negotiate pricing, and identify new products as needed and in coordination with company purchasing procedures and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Foster a strong safety culture within the plant.
- Build and develop a high-performance team of supervisors, leads, and staff
- Understand, review, and hold to plant financial goals for revenue, margin, and plant OH.
- Implement standard processes and document procedures to maintain consistency, improve quality, and allow for better cross training
- Evaluate Production Floor workflow and processes and collaborate with Production Supervisor to identify and implement improvements
- Analyze and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications: What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
