What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Assembler position at Patton Electronics Co.?
Performs electro-mechanical assembly and inspection on various communications, networking and other electronic products following product documentation and in accordance with IPC-A-610 and/or in-house workmanship standards.
Duties may include: Pulling parts kits, manual assembly of PC boards, thru-hole soldering, mechanical assembly, labeling, packaging, final inspection and testing of products.
Responsible for following company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and ISO documentation.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work alone or in a work cell with other employees.
- Must be able to work sitting down and standing up.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and climb small ladders to obtain parts numerous times each day.
- Must have a working knowledge of common electronics and light mechanical assembly tools and be able to perform repetitive tasks with these tools each day.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, web browsers, and be able to learn and utilize the company’s ERP and documentation systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Years of experience may vary depending on the specific business requirements at the time of hire.
