Patton is seeking a Test Technician who will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by inspecting and testing a variety of electronic communication devices manufactured by Patton. The Test Technician will use schematics, engineering drawings, automated tests and various tools to ensure product quality. - Perform inspection, test, and basic troubleshooting on various network access and connectivity products following product documentation and / or automated test software.
- Document all manufacturing activities clearly and accurately.
- Interact regularly with co-workers, Manufacturing Management, Purchasing / Planning, Sales, Engineering, Technical Support in a dynamic team environment to resolve product and component issues related to Manufacturing.
- Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and quality management system documentation.
- Associates Degree or Technician Diploma in Electronics Technology and 1-2 years’ experience, or High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
- Must be able to read and understand schematic diagrams and assembly drawings and be familiar with electronic components.
- Must have a working knowledge of electronics and be proficient with basic test equipment and hand tools used in electronics.
- Must have a basic knowledge of in-circuit programming.
- Must be proficient in soldering techniques in accordance with IPC-610, or equivalent.
- Must be able to work alone or in a work cell with other employees.
- Must be able to work sitting down and standing up.
