About the Opportunity
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the Pattons branch operations by maintaining the parts inventory and warehouse, ensuring field service technicians are equipped with the parts required to complete service jobs, and shipping parts orders to customers.
As Warehouse Associate for Pattons you will :
- Receive parts orders. Examine shipment contents and compares with records to ensure correct order fulfillment
- Maintain inventory controls by assigning locations, labeling, and stocking parts.
- Count equipment, parts, accessories, and related material in stock and posts totals to inventory records. Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
- Reference the service schedule to stage parts required for field service technicians to complete service jobs.
- Prepare parts orders for shipment including, but not limited to, preparing shipping documents, packaging, staging, and scheduling freight pickups with the appropriate vendor.
- Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to the appropriate locations. Load and unload freight trucks as necessary.
- Maintain the warehouse including, but not limited to, ensuring pathways and exits are clear of obstructions.
- Perform Other tasks as needed or assigned.
