We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Laborer to join our commercial roofing team. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, TPO, EPDM, and built-up roofing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at heights, in various weather conditions, and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the removal of old roofing materials and debris
Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
Set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
Support roofers with the installation of commercial roofing systems
Operate hand tools and small equipment as directed
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations
Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior construction or roofing experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops for extended periods
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and follow directions
Working Conditions:
Outdoor job sites in varying weather conditions
Physically demanding tasks involving lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
Travel to different job sites as required
