As an In-House Tradesperson with Paul Davis Restoration of Idaho, you will play a crucial role in the repair and restoration of properties impacted by disasters. This position requires a hands-on professional who can perform various construction and trade-related tasks, including carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical work, and more. You will work directly with our restoration team to ensure timely, high-quality repairs for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and restoration work on properties affected by water, fire, or storm damage.
- Conduct drywall installation and repairs, including taping and finishing.
- Handle carpentry work such as framing, trim, and cabinetry repairs.
- Assist with minor plumbing and electrical work (based on experience).
- Work alongside other tradespeople and technicians to ensure seamless project completion.
- Communicate with project managers and supervisors to update on progress and any issues.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure that all work meets industry standards and is completed on time and within budget.
- Proven experience in multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of disaster restoration processes is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
