We develop strategies that are inspired by Bill's disciplined quantitative approach and incorporate his desire for constant improvement through ongoing backtesting.Summary O’Neil Global advisors (OGA) is seeking an investment professional to monitor the daily trading activity for the firm and provide support for a mix of discretionary managers and algorithmic investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience with systematic (no touch) execution strategies and the software systems that support these strategies.Duties and Responsibilities Monitor the firm’s daily trading activities and provide trading support to a mix of discretionary portfolio managers and quantitative systematic investment strategiesManage the daily trade workflow and reconsolidation processLead the trade break resolution process with Brokers, Custodians, and Fund AdministratorsOnboard and setup new Separate Accounts clients in the Portfolio Management and Order Management SystemsWork with external trading partners to setup data feeds and work with our Capital Markets team to implement monitoring of these feedsOrganize and lead the monthly NAV review approval processDesign and maintain portfolio reports for senior managementWork with our Decision Support team to design & build custom trading analytics / toolsWork with our Capital Markets team to design & build trading infrastructure software componentsPrepare regulatory filings (Form 13F, Form PF, etc.)Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Finance and 2-4 years of relevant experiencePrevious experience working with equity investments in a trading capacity is requiredPrevious experience with Order Management System (Eze Castle, etc.), Execution Management Systems, and Portfolio Management Systems (Advent Geneva, APX, etc.) is requiredExpert skill in writing SQL queries to gather, clean, and analyze trading data is requiredFamiliarity with a programming language such as Python, C, and R is a plusFamiliarity with FIX protocol is a plusAbility to thrive in a remote work environment is essentialWorking Conditions This is fully remote role until COVID-19 subsides, at which point you will have the option to continue working from home or working from our offices in New York, Boston, or Los Angeles.
