Contents Lead Technician
The Contents Lead Technician works within our Emergency Services (Mitigation) Department, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. The person in this role leads and manages the contents process and the cleaning of all salvageable contents from a loss. The Contents Lead Technician is responsible for developing and communicating all aspects of the cleaning work flow and processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead the Team responsible for cleaning customers contents removed from a loss.Responsible for equipment tracking, maintenance and upkeepResponsible for daily equipment and supply inventory sheet for each teamCompletion of supply order for contents divisionTrain and coach contents field staffSubmit weekly time sheets and coded job hours to Mitigation ManagerApprove Field Staff hourly time cards on a weekly basisAssist the Coordinator with daily schedule, dispatch and supervision of contents and laundry assigned jobsComplete initial inspections for new losses within the contents divisionComplete estimates within our main estimating software for contents and laundry jobsSupervise, lead and coach field staff and sub-contractorsWork safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and / or moldComplete cleaning processes for both contents and structural damage assigned jobsReporting of inventory in our main operating system, RMSCompletion and filing of documentation on contents and laundry jobsCommunicate job progress and completion with Managers, Team Leaders, customers, and insurance adjustors / carriersAct as the main point of contact for the homeowners throughout assigned jobsMaintain and create good relationship with insurance carriers and vendorsComplete work for catastrophic eventsFollow the Paul Davis Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving BasicsAttend industry related trainingsOther Duties as assignedCompetency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)Knowledge of estimation softwareKnowledge of processing contents within the restoration industryCustomer Service SkillsCommunication skillsAdministration skillsCoaching and leadership skillsAbility to learn and operate our primary operating systems : RMS, Xactimate, TSheets, Salesforce, Contractor Connection, ADP, SharePoint, and One DriveAbility to create estimates in our estimation softwareAbility to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to faceAbility to work office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, phone system, computers)Ability to work independently and lead a teamAbility to work within hazardous environments safelyAbility to coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frameAbility to oversee a staff on assigned jobsMaintain a level of confidentialityAbility to follow and represent Paul Davis culture through our company Vision, Mission, Values, and 10 Serving BasicsRequired Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience with content processing proceduresPreferred Education and Experience :
Associate Degree or Bachelors DegreeIICRC certifications1 year experience in a Supervisory / Leadership rolePhysical Requirement
