We are in need of a construction project manager for our leading disaster restoration company. At Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Columbia, we believe that our people are the foundation of our business. We are looking for talented individuals who demonstrate honesty, integrity, and provide exceptional care to those in need. We seek leaders with strong problem-solving skills, a solid work ethic, and preferably a background in residential construction and fire / water restoration. However, we are willing to train the right candidate with growth potential, even with limited experience. Candidates must be able to work well in a team, have a passion for customer service, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan and execute construction plans and schedules, and be adaptable to meet changing needs and requirementsManage project budgets to meet financial targets, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for each projectRecruit, supervise, and manage subcontractors / trade partners, assign responsibilities, and hold them accountable for timely execution of workInterface with clients, inspectors, engineers, city and county officials, estimators, vendors, and office staff to ensure excellent execution, quality, and meeting deadlinesDeliver on our brand promise, uphold our core values, and meet project quality standards effectivelyEnsure project documents are delivered complete, on time, and stored appropriatelyParticipate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses, as determined by the rotating scheduleRequired Skills and Qualifications :
Ability to work independently with exceptional organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and customer service skills, with compassion and empathy for the customerProfessional presentationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in stressful situationsTake initiative in pursuing industry certifications and improving technical knowledgeFamiliarity with construction job management systems (e.g. Dash, Buildertrend, etc.)Strong leadership skills and accountability for workDeadline and detail-orientedThrive in a team environmentWork Experience and Education :
Minimum college degree or equivalent industry experience required (in construction or restoration)3-5 years’ minimum proven experience in construction or restoration construction and project managementProficiency with computers and various technologiesIndustry certifications, including IICRC and Lead, preferredValid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, background check, and drug screening requiredYour compensation will be based on your production and ability to complete projects. Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
