- Strong accounting background
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Ability to learn new software and work in multiple platforms simultaneously
- General Ledger, AR, AP, FA , Payroll, Billing, etc.
- Financial statement preparation
- Accounting degree or additional 5 years of applicable experience
Income Statement and Balance Sheet preparation; knowledgeable in General Ledger and subsidiary ledger functions including:
- Invoicing
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Cash
- Payroll processing
- Bank account and credit card reconciliation
- Fed, State, and local withholding and employment tax
- Budgeting
- Collections
- Written and oral communications
- Document and update accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with management and external clients
- Detail oriented with the ability to explain details to management
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- QuickBooks Online – advanced in all day to day financial functions
- Advanced Excel skills
- Time entry/management software
- Fixed asset and depreciation software
