Landscape Technician
Must be 18 or older
Valid Driver’s license and good driving record is mandatory
Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour (raises available bases on performance)
Summary
This position requires experience in landscaping maintenance and in commercial lawn care. Applicants should be hard-working, team-oriented and ready to keep up with the high-paced demands of a busy lawn care and landscaping company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weeding, Edging and mulching landscape beds
- Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
- Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
- Spring & Fall Clean Ups
- Installation of hardscapes and retaining walls
- Commercial mowing
Minimum Qualifications & Physical Requirements:
- Must be 18 years
- Valid Driver’s License is Mandatory
- 2 years professional experience in landscaping
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including, but not limited to: commercial mowers (push, stand-on, zero-turn), edgers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, skid steer, hand tools and etc.
- Safely operate trucks, trailers, and dump trucks
- Able to safely operate machinery (as instructed)
- Physical Stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Able to sit, stand, kneel and lift/move 50 lbs. repeatedly with no physical limitations or restrictions.
- Must have strong communication and time management skills
Hours: Monday – Friday & weekend hours may be required as needed
Expected work hours: 30-40 hours per week
