Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations of reportable and non-reportable incidents for multiple residential program sites.
- Make all required notifications of reportable and non-reportable incidents to all correspondents and stakeholders within required time frames.
- Assist with audit preparation, board of directors' reports and administrative support tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as in quality assurance or investigations.
- Must be certified in incident investigations by OPWDD and or the NYS Justice Center within sixty (60 days) of appointment.
- Familiarity with NYS regulations and procedures governing incident reporting for vulnerable persons.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with the Incident Reporting Management Application (IRMA).
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within Central Brooklyn.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
