Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary eye examinations and take patient histories.
- Measure and record vital signs as needed.
- Assist in the administration of diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Maintain and update patient medical records using electronic health records.
- Provide education to patients regarding eye health and treatment options.
- Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology related to ophthalmology.
- Experience with electronc medical records systems.
- Ability to measure vital signs accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of clinic operations and procedures within an ophthalmology setting.
